Established in 2013 and based in Bristol, the company leverages its expertise to support businesses with reliable and efficient battery maintenance and repair services

They wanted to improve the whole end to end process to provide the best service experience in the industry, attracting the best engineers, improving efficiency, whilst growing the business with reduced costs.

With an increasing, but variable demand for servicing jobs, the business needed flexibility and better control over its resources and costs.

Removal of paperwork and replacement with electronic records, provided an immediate opportunity from immediacy of data, lack of duplication, loss, interpretation and more.

Once implemented, the solution quickly demonstrated its worth and return on its investment through increased turnover of jobs, and improved invoice and job tracking.

Starting with our Digital Roadmap, we started with an understanding of the business issues, gap and priorities rather than jumping straight into a software solution.

With a carefully staged plan of works, we designed, implemented, tested and deployed the necessary components at a pace which made sense for the customer, without disruption to the day-to-day business.

Backed up with engineer shadowing, close follow up and support, we are already well into the next phase of work to expand the system further as their customer base grows.

ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE
The solution has allowed for less time on site allowing for more jobs overall.

The transition from paper to tablet based job management, reporting and records has been seamless.

By replicating the forms the engineers are used to working with, but in an electronic format, and with the minimal amount of training, the engineers just picked up the new process straight away.

This project is a great example of close customer collaboration and simple, but effective application design.
